Rebellion Coming: Team Sets Lineups for 2013

BRASELTON, Ga. – Nick Heidfeld and Neel Jani will kick off Rebellion Racing’s full-season effort in the 2013 American Le Mans Series presented by Tequila Patrón, the team announced today. The pair is set to drive Rebellion’s No. 12 Lola-Toyota P1 coupe starting with the 61st Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring Fueled by Fresh from Florida.

Two Rebellion entries will be on the grid at Sebring – Nicolas Prost joins Heidfeld and Jani in the No. 12; while Andrea Belicchi, Mathias Beche and CongFu Cheng team in the No. 13 Lola-Toyota. The same pairings in both cars will contest the first three rounds of the FIA World Endurance Championship, including the Le Mans 24 Hours.

For the Long Beach and Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca rounds of the ALMS, Heidfeld and Jani (right) will drive the No. 13 Lola-Toyota. The driver lineup for the remainder of the season will be confirmed later.

Rebellion Racing enters 2013 off a season-ending victory at the 2012 Petit Le Mans powered by Mazda. Belicchi, Prost and Jani won the race after starting from pole position at Road Atlanta.

The 61st Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring Fueled by Fresh from Florida is set for 10:45 a.m. ET on Saturday, March 16 from Sebring International Raceway. SPEED's live coverage begins at 10:30 a.m. ET.
